Our pricing is based on the number of (1000 square foot units) per lawn.
The per application rate is based on a sliding scale where as the larger the lawn the lower the per unit price.
Our high and low maint programs use the same products; however the prices are based on the amount of product applied.
We work hard on keeping our costs competitive with the competition. Even though our material costs are higher, we do not have all the overhead the larger franchise companies have.
For example in Feb/07 Steve Fagerlind got a telemarketer call from a Big Lawncare Franchise. I can't say who they are, but they do have pretty pictures of dogs and dolphins on their trucks. Even though Steve's phone number is on the National Do Not Call List, they called him anyway. Click the link below if you want to put your name on this list. For the most part it does cut down the number of telemarketing calls, and caller ID does identify them.
However if that's not good enough, and those computer calls keep coming through, you need to use the TeleZapper. Hit the link to the TeleZapper website and their product will help you end those automated calls. They list the product at 39.99, but they will link you to Amazon.com, where I purchased it for 18.98. It's AWESOME
They told him that the regular application price for his 20,000 sq' lawn would be 113x4 = 452, but because he would be a new customer they would offer a rate of 92x4 = 368, and if he were to sign up on the spot, he would receive free insect control. All with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. WOW what a deal huh.
Well the S Fagerlind Co would treat that same lawn at 72x4 = 288, but more than likely would have set the customer up on a acreage program at 108+72+72 = 252. Both options are far below that of the BIG Lawncare Company's prices by 80-200.
